We have been learning all about Castles this term and today we visited Farleigh Hungerford Castle, what a fantastic day we all had!
This week year 1 have been busy making Paddington's favorite snack (marmalade sandwiches). We have worked hard to create instruction texts for the other year groups to follow.
In Year 1 we have been working hard, learning all about the British Isles. We really enjoyed learning all about Scotland's capital city yesterday, the children particularly enjoyed recreating the famous Highland Games, with "Haggis Hurling and the Sheaf Toss."
We experimented with different ways of making paper stronger to hold our bears. We tried twisting, folding and scrunching and turned the paper into our very own bear chairs.
