St Osmund's Catholic Primary School

St Osmund's Catholic Primary School

Love for God - Love for each other - Love for learning

Section 48 Report

On 26th and 27th April 2018 we welcomed inspectors from Clifton Diocese to inspect our Catholic School.

The inspectors enjoyed their visit to St Osmund’s and judged that we continue to be a Good Catholic school, which is on a journey of continual improvement.  They recognised that we have achieved a great deal in recent times, with improvements being evident in all areas. Of particular strength is the Prayer Life of our school, which the inspectors judged to be Outstanding.  Of course, we are always working to improve and we must continue to support and evaluate the quality of teaching in curriculum RE to ensure it is always of a consistently high standard.  We were recognised as having made a real impact on raising standards but this is a journey of improvement and we need to continue our good work.

What matters most, is that I, our staff and children are incredibly proud of our wonderfully unique St Osmund’s school community, and the education it provides.  We will continue to work with determination, care and love, to ensure that we preserve and enhance our uniqueness.
