Ten Minute Phonics Sessions for Parents
At St Osmund’s, we support children’s reading through our ‘Ten Minute Phonics’ sessions – short, fun and focused activities that help build confidence with sounds and words. We know children do best when school and home work together. Below you will find the letter we have shared with families, along with simple ideas and guidance to help you support your child’s phonics learning at home in a fun and manageable way.
The next phonics sessions at 3pm in school are: 7th May, 21st May, 4th June, 18th June, 2nd July, 16th July
As always, please come and speak to us if you would like any help or advice with phonics – we are always happy to help.
