Admissions

St Osmund’s is a Catholic Voluntary Aided primary school, within the Diocese of Clifton serving the parishes of St Osmund’s, St Gregory’s and Holy Redeemer in Salisbury. Most of our children come from Salisbury and Wilton with a few from villages a little further from the city centre.

The governing body, acting in accordance with the Code of Practice and the Clifton Diocesan Policy Statement, is responsible for the admission of pupils.

Applications for a place at St Osmund's must be made using the Primary Common Application Form. This form is available in paper form but parents are advised to apply online direct to Wiltshire County Council at https://establishmentportal.wiltshire.gov.uk/web/portal/pages/home

As a Catholic school we require proof of Baptism by way of a Baptism Certificate for every baptised Catholic child.  This must be uploaded onto the Establishment Portal at the time of application and a copy sent to school.

The deadline for applications for the Reception class is displayed around the school and in the Admissions link on the school website.

For admission to the school in September 2024 the deadline is 15th January 2024
