Here at St Osmund’s school, artist Steve Porter came to help us with a timeline to be displayed in our KS2 playground. We used acrylic paint and every child contributed. The younger children had to paint small blobs and the older children painted more recognisable objects. There were seven panels, each one had a famous event as well as the year they happened. In the middle there was a painting of Jesus. Steve used the picture by Mrs Dicker’s office as a stimulus. Written by Abtahi and Peter.

In November ,Year 6 went to Bishops Wordsworth to see an author (Jonathan Stroud). Jonathan Stroud wrote a series called Lockwood and Co. which he discussed in this visit. In this visit St Martin’s School and Bishops Year 7 and 8 were there. One of Bishop’s pupil was dressed up as the main character Lockwood. This series is about some friends who can see ghosts and hear them. What made this series attracting was the thrilling trailer we watched. Written by Marielle and Joshua.
